I have lived in Muriwai for many years, appreciating it's wild yet spiritual nature, which has sustained me through many stages of life. Initially, I worked with silver, making lost wax cast jewellery. For the last 20+ years, my fascination with carving has led me to experiment with clay in many different ways. The work is sculptural and an expression of my life and preoccupations.
