Mandy Jakich is a multimedia artist whose work is deeply rooted in a response to place. Engaging with the language of geometric abstraction, Mandy explores the interplay of form, colour, shape, line, and pattern to distill landscapes and nature into dynamic visual compositions.

Through a process of experimentation across various media including paint and thread, Mandy creates work that is both playful and precise—an invitation to see the world through a lens of fragmented symmetry and shifting perspectives. 

Mandy is a member of the Muriwai Artists’ Collective, she participates in group shows and open studios and is the host of the Creative Matters podcast where she interviews artists from Aotearoa NZ about their creative journey, art practice and process.
