I think about my work as drawing – a thought process which evolves and clarifies as marks are made, usually repetitively and slowly. Environmental nature and human nature fascinate me, particularly points of intersection and diversion which often become part of my drawings. A lot of my work still shows the remnants of my early studies in Textile Design – an approach to materiality which considers form and texture as vital to how it is perceived and engaged with.
