Judy an artistic photographer, has always been inspired by the ocean and it was in Muriwai that she honed her craft of expressing the moods of the ocean and it’s edges with her camera.

Judy now lives on a remote clifftop overlooking Ripiro Beach where her love affair with the ocean’s edges and creativity continue.  She gives photography workshops around New Zealand and Australia and has won awards nationally and internationally for her work.

Judy returns regularly to Muriwai to give workshops, reunite with the black sand, gannets and all the wonderful moods Muriwai has to offer.
