I have been weaving harakeke here in Muriwai for over thirty years, having been introduced to the art as a youngster by my grandmother in Malaysia.

I have attended courses and training programmes, are inspired by our natural wonders, have exhibited locally and regionally, and provided an introduction to weaving for young people, at home, at school and youth organisations.

In recent years, I have added colour, shells, flowers, and feathers to some of my work.
