40 artists, one weekend - take a drive out west!
The best kind of trail is one that leads you to new and exciting places. That’s exactly what you will find at Muriwai Beach, just 35 minutes west of Auckland city, on the 20th and 21st November 2010. For the second year, over 40 local artists will come together to showcase their work in one large collective exhibition. All works will be for sale, and they cover the spectrum of media, including painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics, textiles and jewellery.

Running concurrently as part of the weekend programme, selected artists will be opening their studios to the public (these are situated all within the Muriwai locality). This will provide an opportunity for visitors to see the artists in their own setting, and to appreciate the unique environment that has inspired much of their work.
