Julie Boys
Julie’s creative career spans 40 years, beginning with fabric and fibre art (including muka, batik and screen printing), examples of which have been exhibited at the Auckland War Memorial Museum in 1985, and the Waikato Museum of Art and History in 1991. In 1998 Julie moved into garden design and landscaping, winning many awards at the Ellerslie International Flower Show. Recent work includes sculpture (incorporating steel and stone), pencil landscapes and life drawing, and glass mosaics with a space theme; stars with swirling gas clouds and planets featuring craters and crystals.
