I live at Muriwai Beach, West Auckland. Every day I am so grateful to be living somewhere so beautiful. I work in a lopsided shed, set in the bush down a steep bank in front of our house. I do a lot of research before I begin a new work but when painting I let intuition take over. I don’t think too hard about what I’m doing and take as many risks as possible. I have exhibited extensively in New Zealand and in the UK. I am currently selling my work through my website www.amandakemp.co.nz
