Muriwai Arts Trail 2009

I have ‘souled up’ in Muriwai for 35 years… (a natural place for my left hand). I made detailed small scale wood and Paua rings at 14, a few 3 1/2 ton handcarved rocks at 30,,, loved that. At present I like to go for walks with Pauline, find a plastic bag (not hard) and fill it with the stuff townies throw. In 1980 I cleaned all the plastic and glass off Maori Bay for 6 weeks and then slowly turned it into an exhibition of jewellery at Fingers… sold it back to Auckland (land of Auck!)
