I have been working with clay for about five years and love the possibilities of texture, palette and form its plasticity permits. Nature and the environment in which I live and play is one of my largest influences, although I find a whimsical touch hard to resist. I take pleasure in the freedom of form hand building affords. I do lots of glaze testing to get the finishes I want; all the glazes used for this exhibition are ones I have developed myself.
