Margaret Benton
Originally from Weymouth on the beautiful South Coast of England, Margaret came to New Zealand at the age of 13. She now lives in rural West Auckland and spends much of her time in her garden and creating mosaics. Her art mostly comprises of outdoor pieces for gardens but also extends to indoor table-top pieces and mirrors. Recent commissions include, the Huapai Public Toilets a the Huapai Sports Ground, the reception of the Worldwide School of English in Commerce Street, and the pavement mosaics on Matua Road.
